Engine and all other gear under bonnet repainted.

All brakes and suspension dismantled, cleaned and repainted. Any parts worn were replaced.

steve and mikey recently sold their 60-something deluxe for $5000.
they got it for about half that price through someone they knew
it was pretty much all original although not in a great condition,
large area dent in front panel (you wouldnt see it unless someone pointed it out to you and in good light to see a warp)
rubber mats, faded, big rip under drivers
im quite sure it had the original papers and engine in it

your deluxe wouldnt appeal to a die-hard enthusiast as coz of its engine, itd appeal to someone who likes the mini, needs something reliable but still have a true old style.

it sounds like a nice car, almost original in its form. i would add up everything ive spent on it and go from there.

S and M were asking for about $6k for it, i told him he was dreamin and he said "yeah", but he had good reason in comparing with other minis, and sold it for $5k
