This is driving me crazy... well crazier.

I have spent the last 40 minutes trying to find a thread I read the other day.

It showed a diagram of how the rear drum brakes get set up and which way round the pads go. IT was great and exactly what I wanted as i am currently in the middle of that.
Anyone know what i mean or have the pic. I have searched for a million things but no luck.

I actually remember it well as Gafmo posted a picture of how it is meant to be and then his pic was actually wrong and it was quite funny... as you can imagine.

Ahh bed time i think.

Thanks for reading my rant.

I think you need to invest in a workshop manual?

Hey Hanra,
I have 3. They are with my car 200 ks away. I brought the rear trailing arms and brake bits with me to put together.

Thanks for that though It will help a lot ( not being sarcastic )

Does putting the shoes in so they mirror each other make any difference? I found them that way and also, the handbrake levers would not slip into the rounded hole thing as nice as they did into the slot.

OT question:
When do you replace your front shoes?

Brake pads need to be mirrored left to right Diagram in the manual is the right when with the wheel rotating clockwise. The left would be mirrored with the wheel rotating anti clockwise.
