I can't find the recent thread on this but was wondering if anyone had a view of the Snap On torque wrenches. I would appreciate any feedback.

For the price you know they're going to be good....

But their are equally accurate torque wrenches available for less.

Well if the opportunity presents itself to own a nice tool at a ver affordable price, then go for it....The quality will be there long after the price is forgotten.

I hate the hyper inflated prices snap-on charge for their tools, and the spin they use to justify it....but I gotta say they are pretty nice to use. I've got the odd snap on tool around (ratchets and such) and they are very excellent.
Not 300% markup excellent, but pretty nice to use.

Mick I agree. It's good kit. Like a lot of products, if they spent less on their freakin' marketing then we could get them at a more reasonable cost. Snap On have for too many years blown heaps on product placement and marketing.

Now Classic Minis need no marketing; they are what they are and everyone knows them, has had one or their mum or relo has had one. Legend!

Can't go wrong with a Warren & Brown, Australian made, fair price, and most of all...accurate.

They're not so bad looking at the ebay prices, don't know what happens later in the auction however...
