Does anyone know where to find some snow chains specifically suited for tyres the size of Mini tyres? I might need some soon. So that is fun. |

Never tried it, but I'd have thought you'd struggle to get chains: a) to fit 10" wheels/tyres b) to fit, period... |

I heard there is a shop in Jindabyne that makes custom snow chains for any wheels... If you want details I might be able to find out exactly where for you... |

Surely someone somewhere makes them, I mean, with all the little cars in Japan and England with snow then surely they exist. |

I was about to say they do exist when I saw Aaron's post ... Some friends in Grafton have a set but they won't sell them to me as they still have several mini's and a time share in a challet ![]() |

Too lazy, too tight or too stupid. Although i'm sure they do exist, i'm sure there's mini drivers in places like Austria & Switzerland where it can be illegal to not have them in winter time. (either that or they have to have snow tyres). Custom-made s probably the best option.

they're about.... I did a bit of a google and Konig list 2 styles that come in mini sizes. I've even rented them from a place here in Wodonga, and my mate brought 2 brand new sets a couple of years ago (I have my name on 1 set) go to a place that sells them, and look through their catalogues by the way... these are the ones I rented, the brick was too low for them to clear the flares, so I put some blocks of wood between the top suspension arms and the subframe. Next time I go to the snow in a mini, I'll fit chains to some tyres and put them on the roof, and just swap wheels, rather than muck around getting cold fingers ![]() |

I've got a few sets... most are for 12" wheels but i'll see if there are any 10's no use to me in Adelaide, cold but not snowy. |
