Should the seam to be found beneath the headlight (going from the grill to the wheel arch) be EDIT: have drip check sealant put on prior to painting??

Anyone?

I'm putting together the painting specs for the upcoming paint job..
This is so the spray painter is on the same page as me.

oops, I meant "drip check sealant" it's the same stuff that is in the seam on the top rear of the guards.

I think I've decided it should be there...

I think it's a butyl mastic type stuff - fexible - seals and can be painted over

Yeah, I've got a tube of the stuff here.

Turns out there's a whole bunch of spots to put it on, I've been looking.
Drip rail, seam covers, seams on the front guards etc etc
