Post subject:  Pass on message please - Oran Park Track Day Saturday
I would like an Nb/Nc to join us for a private practice session this Saturday at Oran Park as per my post in the events section (see http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45555).

Could anyone in Sydney please pass on a message to David Wheatley, Darren Burnes, Greig, GOD, Ben Tebutt, and any other Mini racers who don't otherwise regularly read the forum, to get in touch with me ASAP (pm for phone number).

Anyone else who is interested in going, pm me for details, only a few spots left.

You shouldn;t even be driving yours until the exhaust is fixed, and new tyres on the front. After you left on Saturday, Roz goes - "there's oil spots on the concrete"
I go "yeah, you told robbie to park there" (under our back pergola). Her reply " well, you'll have to get out there and scrub them" and I suppose I should too, one day.

well, exhaust is getting fixed tomorrow, tyres will be replaced when i get my tax cheque back, and in theory it might help me round the track with slick tyres on it :lol:

and sorry about your concrete, i did the same thing to matt :oops: :oops: :oops:

yeah, i try and park on grass where i can now so no one notices :oops:
i think from now on ill carry a rag around with me and whenever i park on someones concrete etc ill put it under the engine to protect it :lol:

Went through your pics - not there, what happened to him (0 laps)?

Also good to see Darren Burnes mixing it with the others after mastering regularity!!

There will only be 10-15 cars max on track for this event - so far it's 8!!. If I get two more I'll be happy as that is what the booking was made for and equates to about 200metres of track for each car.

It's a really good opportunity to get onto Oran Park for some appreciation of the track without the pressure of a speed event or avoiding idiots like you do at some drive days.

So far all of the people who have confirmed know each other and you can be sure that you will get track 'space'.
