Whats the casting number on the head ???

Those valves are larger than standard for a 998 but since the heat is thirty odd years old there could be any number of reasons for that such as normal reconditioning.

The shape of the combustion chamber and the inlet and outlet ports gives a much better idea of head work for performance purposes Do you have any photos ???
