Post subject:  types of hubs

hi there guys..
would someone be able to tell me the difference between all of the hubs for mini's.. i have a set of metro discs and calipers i was going to use on my LS but i am now going to leave that as is and build a whole new front.. what hubs can i use (modify to suit) to adapt to the metro discs, and has anyone else done this before that may be able to assist me?
cheers

There's standard drum hubs, and disc brake hubs for minis.
The disc brake ones have the lugs for the caliper mounts.

Metro Hubs will fit a mini (with the correct ball joints) but the suspension geometry will be different. The lower arms should be replaced with negative camber ones to make up most of the difference.

If you use a Mini disc hub, the metro turbo disc, drive flange and caliper will all bolt
straight on.
The only difference is metro caliper mounts are metric, minis are imperial.
Ideally you should mount the caliper with a special bolt that has the correct mini thread and the (larger) metric shank.
:D
