Hello people, Are you like me and work on your mini often? are you sick of having to use 2 jacks to get your low riding mini off the ground? well have I got a scoop for you! Repco currently stock a trolley jack that is at it's lowest height only 14cm off the ground. It is $99 save $70. See you this weekend at Repco! ![]() |

I bought a $20 trolley jack from big W that fits under them easily , only lifts to about a foot high so useless on anything other than a mini but well worth the price (or it was till it blew a seal ![]() |

I too have the $20 Big W trolley jack but it just doesn't fit under Lillee's sagging front hydro bags. So i guess this problem is mine and mine alone ![]() |

Just how low is Lillee then ??? I've fit this one under many low mini's (hydro and lowered dry) without drama's , maybe they've changed their range , I'll go measure the lowered height of it later . |

I always just lift the car up a bit by hand to slide the jack underneath. It's one of the wonders of hydrolastic suspension. ![]() |

Lillee wrote:  You shouldn't jack from that point. I have bent tie rod arm mounts on Lillee for that reason... Made proper alignment quite difficult on Lillee without the use of adjustables...
so line up your jack properly, if the jack bends the ears the tie rods attach to, don't bloody drive the car cos they'll tear off one day..... my Mini K actually had the ears brazed up, I tested the brakes on day and one of them sheared - lucky I was doing a controlled test! I've got a big arse 2 ton jack, fits everywhere under my cooper - the bigger jacks fit the lifting bit between the wheels, whereas the little ones have it above the wheels, hence sit high |
