looking at those pics besides him having water damage thanks to the accessor and the tow truck driver not winding the window up

the damage includes this: broken C.V shaft, bent tie rod (possible rack), mirror missing, broken door handle and lock, d/s guard, door and rear panel bent and the door is jammed close :( . doe anyone have an idea of what the repair cost could be? and what would be a good option to do from here?

Sorry Joe but it's easy to see why they wrote Tiny off with that damage . Is that (the white stuff under the paint) all body filler or just primer that stuck to the metal ? No idea on cost to repair the shell , best talk to a professional about that otherwise you may be misled and sink too much money into a lost cause .

First up the emotion hits you - but if you plan to repair it just suck it up and start. It probably looks worse than it is but saying that there could be some hidden things that need to be looked for - I'd have the engine out and drop the sub frame and check it for square. replace the steering rack check the diff for damage internally as it looks like the drive shaft took a hammering and will need replacing. check over the hub on that side as well.

Panel work - the flares look bad cause they are fibre glass and split - probably easier to replace. get a new S/H door and a new front guard

Depends how quick you want it back on the road and how much money you want to throw at it and what you can do yourself. The cheapest way will be do as much of it you can yourself and take your time - amazing how things you need turn up when you are ready for them and looking

primer stuck to the metal. :(, ill probably do all the mechanical side of things myself replacing rack and such. but the body ill send to a panel beater. if worse comes to worse i might have to accept the fact i have to get another roundnose and swap the parts

The door, the fender, bonnet and three quarter panel all look replaceable. However the cowl panel/A pillar between the front fender and the front door shut looks rooted.

Whats the inside of that panel look like.

The rack etc all longs replaceable.

That's ok then (and not a reason for a :( ) I was worried there were more disasters hidden under body filler . This could be the perfect oportunity for you toget a welder and learn how to do your own bodywork . Like Wombat said , drop the engine and subframe out , check everything for square and start looking for parts . It's up to you whether you buy new panels or find a wrecked shell to get the bits off but it will be a lot cheaper doing a lot of it yourself .

Once you peel the door skin off, you should be able to mend the inner panel quite easily and just put a new skin on.

The issue is the A-panel - its r%%ted

To replace the A panel you would need to jig the body wouldn't you?
