Fittings are the same, genuine brake hoses for discs are shorter than for drums though. |

I thought they were shorter, I remeber when I first put discs on my car I used drum brake hoses, and then they rubbed on the caster rods. So I got shorter "disc" hoses But last time I bought them everyone was selling one length (that rub on the caster rods...) maybe the shorter ones are NLA? Andrew |

I'm surprised the shorter ones aren't labelled "cooper S" ones and cost twice as much! ![]() |

Then someone will get this real bright idea that to avaoid the Cooper Tax on the short ones just use the long ones. |

Yes the disc ones are shorter but I've not seen them about for years. Drum ones are OK, but swing the wheels from lock to lock and make sure they don't rub on the tiebars. If they do, rotate the top of the hose in the subby a little and retighten the nut. ![]() |
