Evening people How on earth do diagonal split brake systems work? and where do the lines run? and is there still a proporting valve in the rear subframe? -confused kiwi! |

Those things are the spawn of the devil, invented and used in UK. Thank God we never got them here in Oz... ![]() |

Thank God we never got them here in Oz... ![]() its an aussie car - so i blamed you lot! im keeping the tandem, but converting to front/rear (normal) split! |

Are you sure it is a diagonal split brake system, I have never seen one on a Aust Built Mini Or Moke |

yup, its an early aussie clubman (magic wand) with a square uk tunnel, and uk GT engine, brakes and single bolt subframes ![]() Its got the uk type tandem master. |

No Oz Minis ever got a square UK tunnel. Even our late Clubbies 75? on with the rodchange box still got the round tunnel, hydro channels in floor, even the bump where the 850 starter used to be. Sounds like your car had been revinned, if it has an Oz body prefix... ![]() |
