Best depends on size and budget. |

for the money i would go with yokohama A008's, but as i found out recently they are NLA in australia, and they dont know when the next shipment is arriving. the slick yokos are A032's, your looking at roughly $215+ a tyre for them. |

The Dunlop D93J's are a very good tyre for around A008 money, albeit they won't last that long (same as A032R's). Either way I am very happy with my semi-slick tyres ![]() Dunlop Aquajets would probably look more 'period' on your car, but they won't grip as well. |

by standard, I'd assume you're running the standard 3.5" rims - just get whatever 145 series tyres you can get - Kumho's aren't bad, there are a few brands, all about the same $50 mark none of them are performance tyres, but a stocko 850 doesn't really need them, does it |

like simon says for an 850 go with some kumho's, they're probably the only ones easily available in 145 R10 |

Nah, where's your sense of adventure. In my younger and stupider days I ran 165/70 Falken's on those wheels, it was great if you ignored the smell of burning rubber from the tyres rubbing on the dampers in a corner ![]() |

They might not be at every shop, but the big chains can source them from other shops around the country. Expect to pay around $140, but IMO they are a super tyre, reasonably good wearing and hang on good. ![]() |

a008's are a bit of overkill on an 850, and they wont fit the standard rims. |

![]() Bob Jane told me the same thing a couple of months ago so I grabbed the last set that Minisports had. |

For stock 1962 3.5" rims you want 145/10s, not 165/70s. Pick any one, they are all crap really. ![]() That said, they are all better than the original fitment 5.20x10 crossplies... ![]() re A008s, I got some a month or 2 ago from Tiny but he had to wait for the boat to come in. They are still out there... ![]() |
