Post subject:  rounded steering wheel bolt....

got a lowering bracket last week.... went to put it in yesterday.... but the bolt to un-do to put the bracket thing on (good english!) the nut part was rounded :(

how do i undo it? :oops:

If you can't get a pair of vice grips on it, take your dremel and cut it off ;)

Angle grind a flat or 2 on it then use vice grips. :wink:
Or just cut it and the bolt off, then fit another.

Minis are like Valiants, their owners should learn to MIG weld, otherwise they are tied to the annual rust grind-bog-sand-spray routine every year. In NSW anyway.:lol:
