There was a guy in the USA a few years ago who spent a small fortune on his Hardly Rideable, and one of his modifications was a spark-plug and it's socket built into the underside of the petrol tank.

Simple security: he'd park the bike, pull one lead off the engine spark plugs and clip it onto the one built into the tank.

Some fool tried to steal the bike (one guess at what happened), and the owner is now doing life....

As for min13k's idea, wasn't that in Robocop?

Unfortunately, Supercharged 850 has a dark past.... so this is an area i am very familiar with. I feel that by telling you the following, you may beable to rethink the way you secure your car.

Windows can be broken without noise if required... this is how.

1. Take any old spark plug from your collection.
2. Using a hammer, hit the white part, but not too hard - you only want to split it into about 4 pieces.
3. Pick up ONE of these pieces.
4. Stand back 2 metres, then using a BASEBALL PITCHING technique, throw this single piece at the window with all your throwing power.
5. If successful, the glass will have broken into a sheet of micro sized pieces, without loud noise, and without setting the alarm off.
6. Using your fist inside your sleeve, gently push the sheet of fragmented glass onto the seat.
7. Happy shopping.

Window tint does not stop this technique from working.

Anything you can do to stop this type of vehicle entry is your best type of security.

Window tint make it easier - by nature it makes smashing the window very easy, and also very quiet. Not to mention the sound wont set off a glass break sensor.
