Post subject:  Cancelled - Wedding Convoy October 18th 2008 Sydney CBD
To all,

I have a wedding on the 18th October and would like to organise some Mini's for a Mini-convoy through the Sydney CBD to transport guests. Start at around 4:30pm till about 5:30/6:00pm. Route is only ~2km round trip.

It might tie in well with those attending another wedding earlier in the day.

I plan to contact TV/Radio to see if they are interested as a late night news grab (would be easy, most crews are near cbd for other stuff anyway).

if you dont mind having a polka dot mini in the convoy..
i MAY be able to help that night.. but 18th is a while away for me.... but i will let you know closer to the date !

Hey Daniel,

Might be able to jump in on this one, but a few issues.
1. No one can sit in the back seat - no belts
2. No one can get INTO the back seat because of the bucket seats.

thats the same day as the other wedding convoy to watsons bay.

I have had little response so far so I am going with my BINI (for the flower girls) and taxis for those that need it. I already have cars organised for the rest of the bridal party.

It's a shame, but perhaps people's enthusiasm was softened by the recent attempted scam.

I hope people's trust will be repaired in short time.
