If anyone lives in the Parramatta area and gets the Parramatta Advertiser, make sure you read it this week. You might see someone you know in there! 8) 8)

I originally emailed the local paper to try and promote our drive-in night, just by putting it in their "whats on" guide or whatever.

A lady from the paper called me back and said she'd love to come and take a photo of me and the car and do a story (must be a slow news week!!).

I didn't want to be the only person/car in the paper promoting the club as we're not the prettiest of combinations, so I called Rae and Joan for some names and numbers of people in the immediate area. The paper only wanted people from the paper's distribution area, so i worked the phones and got together a good group and some nice cars. It's amazing how many there are just living in greystanes!!

The only ring-in we got was Matt Martin (he owns a business in the local area anyway!) as I wanted a new Mini in the picture as well.

Look out for us - should be a nice picture!!
