I haven't figured that bit out yet, but it could just be to keep me distracted from the fact the kit doesn't actually do anything ? |

My K&N, pipercross and HKS filter all sit on top of the throttle assy. no tubes to any of them. maybe it is a cold air tube? that will get in the way of your a/c |

I found a pic, looks as if you run it from the front grill to the side of the filter. And yes, it appears my air con will bugger me up. I shall find a way ![]() |

The filter doesn't sit inside the stock airbox does it? That way you still keep the input sensors, the hose can go on the end of the airbox down towards the grille. ![]() |

I have ordered one two and it should be here this weekend - The tube is a cold air intake. I fitted one to my MPI ( 1997 ) and it made some differnce to mid range power but not that much. It is best fitted with a good quilty LCB and exhaust system. It does however, sound GREAT so worth the $130 i paid. |

Holy crap, it certainly is. This, combined with new leads has made one hell of a difference. 3000+ RPM and you can tell the difference, the sports cam loves the increased air flow. |

Looks good ! Mine arrived last week and as soon as my spi Cooper is back from the bodyshop next week i will fit it. Where does the sensor go ? You mentioned you have a sports cam is that the only mod your spi has ? Keen to know if it will make a differance to performance on mine ? I have fitted a SS Dtm RC40 pipe but apart from that its standard. Next mod for me id a good LCB. |

How did the bodywork go? I drove past most days and could see it in the shop in amongst various Ferraris and Alfas. |

Steve fitted mine when he built the car, so I cannot compare the difference, but I just love the sound when you give the car a gut full of accellerator. You don't need the cold air tube, its just a wank I feel, doesn't do antthing except take up more room, if you have any that is... ![]() |
