Post subject:  Rover dizzy or pulsar Dizzy

Hi all
My auto Pulsar is about to go to the wreckers.
I had arranged to have my 1275 fitted with a new Rover dizzy.
Should I keep and convert the dizzy in the Pulsar? The cost of the Rover one is not an issue.
Any worthwhile gains one against the other?

Provided you get the advance curve right for YOUR motor, it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
I buy Pulsar dizzys, yes I'm a cheapskate... 8)

Hi Kevin
I might keep the coil and dizzy anyway. Is the one from the auto to suit the 1275 or the smaller motors?

Auto or manual there really isn't much difference, read the last few pages of my how-to thread.
Both need similar mods, to work properly in a Mini.
