Hi everyone, I just scored myself a very cheap set of Metro turbo vented discs on ebay and now have to work out a way to ship them back. Has anyone got any suggestions on this? Time is not an issue so I don't need to FedEx them just want them to arrive without spending a fortune. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks |

I was looking at doing the same - get the seller to strip off the bits that you need, bin the rest to keep the weight down, ship them via normal sea post, it'll take a while but be waaay cheaper you might as well buy new rotors out here, the uprights are no good to you.... basically just get them to ship the callipers and drive flanges |

Yeah, I am ditching the hubs, driveshafts, hoses etc Do you have any idea how I can organise seafreight? As I said I am in no hurry at all. Thanks |

Just get the seller to post them at the local post office in the UK. Tell him you want it by sea rather than air and 2nd class is fine. Just like you do when you post something from here to there. Std post is always cheaper than sending it by courier. Cheers Aaron |

My last set was 102 (ish) pounds by Fed Ex (last month). Got here in 5-7 days. Seller had an account with Fed Ex though. I got quoted up to 200 pounds by other sellers!!! |

Thanks for that DHL heads up - used to use then 15 years ago when I was importing a lot of software - hadn't given them a thought for car parts. Pretty good price too |

The postal service works fine for me. Less chance of getting pinged for import duries when it gets here also I believe. |
