cross drilled and slotted are a bit of a w@#k but they car will make it to some hillclimbs and maybe some track sprint work, and Mallala is renowned as being the hardest track on brakes in the country...

and the slotted drilled discs and four spots allow me to fend off some of the stick i get from my mates over the mini.... that's another story.

Post subject:	bleeding metro calipers
anyone got a technique for bleeding metro turbo 4 spot calipers? there's three bleed nipples which confuses me a little.... the calipers are off the car at the mo and i'm awaiting new discs from the uk... maybe while i'm here anyone got any theories on having discs machined with grooves? i can get drilled and grooved discs for a huge price (exchange rate) or there are some flat discs in the country now for a reasonable price which i can have grooves machined in. i'm leaning towards the machined grooves (save some dosh) and i'm sure running that with the green stuff pads i bought will be great brakes. so any advice on bleeding the calipers and thoughts on stock discs grooved? cheers.

got the drilled,grooved and vented discs, (andrew at minsport found a pair for me) so now just curious about the bleeding anyone know if there's a sequence for the three nipples....?

I always just did them from bottom up (air rises etc) and never had any hassles.

Why do you need grooved and or crossed drilled discs, are you going racing? For the street there is no real need, ive had this "discussion" with my brother and in the end he wants them for the "w@nk factor"! Ive got green stuff pads and solid discs, i drive my car with enthusiasm where ever i go and the pull up *very well* (understatement!!)

Mallala... you have more brakes than most mini's out there. not an issue. i run the same setup on mine with solid discs.
