While i was hunting for my Spax receipts, i noticed i had 51 receipts from Mini Kingdom. I thought id do a few calculations.... They total $9340.64 in bits n pieces!!! I reckon I must have about 100 Repco ones there, Ill have to add them up one day....

Any other similar stories?

Receipts for 90% of what I have spent on the Mini has gone into a folder (early stuff missed out) I'm too scared to add it up - probably could have bought the latest Rover Mini with MPI and A/C for less

Just got GR's bill - nearly doubled the value of what I paid for the thing in the first place

I've got two large S26 formula tins full of receipts. They are full but I refuse to start a third because that would be admitting I have a problem. That's a lot of recipts given they are stiff folded and pretty flat.

The missus is hounding for the receipts and she looks for them, but I have hidden them in the garage behind some rusty leftover steel. She can have them if she wants to get a tetanus shot into the bargain 8)

Once the vehicle is finished and registered, then...maybe I will let her have them.

There's more in the back room hiding around the place as well....I really don't want to know about the cost...not till I'm done...

Do me a favor all you Mini specialists out there.

Put receipts INSIDE the box. There is no need within Oz to put these on display, and it only causes domestic angst.

My hobby shop does it instinctively 8)

The missus never seems to understand the value of doing something right, yet is the first to complain when something goes wrong.

I'm running out of hiding spots.
