Hi all
couple of questions about cobra classic & monaco seats

(1) Do both seats allow inertia belt reel adjacent to seats?
(2) The monaco seats are slightly wider (510 manaco/490 classic), any problems fitting 2 seats?
(3) Any one in Sydney have them fitted to their mini, so I could have a sit in them & feel what there like?
Thanks
Craig

I had a Cobra Trophy (same/similar to Monaco) in mine for years, there is very little padding in those compared to the Classics I have now. Thank God it is a hydro car.
If it's going in a dry road car, unless you want a numb bum I'd get the Classics.

Yes inertia reels work, but it chafed the cloth off the side of the Trophy a bit.

They fit perfectly, no problem with retractable seat belt, and much more comfortable then the original seat.

Best thing in my car :D

Classics fit very well! in fact there is lots of room on both sides, especially at the bass because the seats tapper. I have had mine in for over six months and i still get excited to sit in them.

I have the same thing but high back. Can't access the back seats as well as these classics. I will look to changing over to classics later but atm high backs work well in sydney traffic (headrest for short naps while waiting in traffic) :P

I put a set in my car that I had here when I got my original seats retrimmed. They fitted no worries at all. Plenty of room everywhere and more leg room than with a standard seat if they are fitted on rails.

They werent too uncomfortable. My back rest area has no padding at all and the metal frame was just covered with the vinyl so they were a bit brutal over long drives but are a good seat for what they are. Dont expect Rolls Royce comfort.

I would let you trial fit my seats to your car but I am in Adelaide

Matt
