Hi, my '68 deluxe has washer jets, but no washer bottle/pump.

did the car originally come with wiper washers? Reason I'm asking is it's due to go for roadworthy test soon.

If it did, is it a necessity to have them operational for roadworthiness in Victoria?

thanks much!

Tim.

it is a finger operated squirt pump that hangs off the lower dash rail!

All Minis back in the 60s had a mechanical plunger `pump' under the dash. You can still buy them from Minispares UK I think.

I posted some pics a while ago of my pump.

My car was built end of 66 (many 66 parts on it) and sold in Feb 67.

See my posts in this thread.

thanks.. that manual pump is a bit pricey!

I think I'll get this clubman style washer bottle with electric pump built in.

the car is far from original so not too fussed about putting in something different. just want to get through road worthy!

once again, thanks!

I run a s/h Toyota bottle with electric pump, it lives under the LH guard along with the ex-Fiat 124S Fiamm air horns. :P
