Hi, I'm working on a '79 Clubman 1275 GT and I am tempted to fit Mini Cooper stainless steel door window frame trims, has anybody ever done that and does it look any good? Regards, Al |

lots of late leyland mini "S"`s etc came out with the chrome trim as per factory, so i can`t see why it wouldn`t look good, |

Hi Matt, I never thought about Aussie Mini Clubman's having the trim. Ours were English of course, and I don't think they ever did. I guess TME will have a photo or two. Thanks Al |

I like them alot, especially with the chrome strips on the flares and side of the car (my cars missing some bits at the moment lol) |

I haven't seen any English Clubmans with the chrome trim. The Aussie Clubman GT and Mini S had it. The doors on the English Minis are different from the Aussie ones but if you can get the trims to fit they would look great. The rear side window has a chrome trim so it would match. Pete |

Hi Pete, I don't think any of the English Clubman variants ever had them but the trims I will use are Riley Elf Mk3, they should work just fine. I like the look of them on your Clubman S's. Regards Al |
