Does anyone know of a web site, book, mag etc that has good pictures of green Minis?? What I'm trying to find is the name (and a pic) of a Leyland paint colour. One of the Minis we picked up last week is a colour green I've never seen before. The outside of the Clubby van (early 70's model) is very rusty and a multitude of colours but inside the doors etc is a really nice dark green. It's not British Racing Green or Brooklands Green. It looks like it's got a bit more of a black tint in it than Brooklands. Anyone know it?? Or know a Mini I could see in the flesh painted that colour. |

We have got ourselves another Clubman, which will become our motorkhana car for a while and it's a nice bright red colour. It doesn't have a paint colour sticker on it but it does have a compliance plate. I have no idea which is the paint code on the plate so I wrote down all the numbers and hopefully someone can tell me what Leyland red it is. Here's what the plate says - 1-2-3-4C-5B-6-7-8-10B-11-12-14-15-16-18-20-21-22A-23-24-25-27-28 MINI 022 D2S1 M09/15505 9/75 So what colour is it?? We want to respray it the same colour when the rust is fixed. Not sure if it's Tartan Red, Jet Red, Scarlet O'Hara......???
