Hi all,
Just had a call from a guy who is trying to identify his mini. He thinks he has a South African Auto Clubman. Sounds like he has but he wants more info on them. He is hopefully going to attend the next Social Meeting at Sofia's and I would like to get some info together if anyone can help.

If its a GT, the south african minis had 1275 engines and drums all round. Scary! The outside is characterised by big stripes that go down the sides.
Though if the car has been modified, these might not exist anymore.

Yeh, I've seen one of those. Only South African Clubman I have ever seen actually.

This is an auto which he has. I have just emailed the Sth African Mini Club so hopefully they can tell me some more.

Could be from New Zealand? They had both Aussie Clubmans and internal hinged Clubmans (with doors like on yours, Jan).

Not sure if they are still current, found them on some website I was searching.

That pic is just like the one I almost bought some time ago, but didn't have the money, and Henry Draper bought it. It has since been sold and I believe is still driving around Melbourne. It was a beautiful car which had been imported by a lady from South Africa and her son & daughter were selling it as she had died.

I think I saw a strip like that on a mini in Qld. two years ago at their June show. Hadn't seen one myself before that.
