I was on my home this afternoon when I had taken of from a set of light, I was in second with my foot to the floor when it started going POP POP POP POP POP POP from the carby, no power and I could only get up to 40km in 4 gear, I limped back to a mechanic, he won't be able to look at it till monday ![]() So any ideas, hoping for something wrong with the carby but might be something wrong with the head. |

Sounds like when my car blew a head gasket... If it runs normally for a few seconds after startup then goes back to that state, it probably is. |

similar thing happened to me due to over ajusted rocker gear, snaped an exhaust push rod on cyl 2, identified the problem on the side of the road disconnected the lead and drove home to fix it on 3 cylinders. struggled to reach 60 in forth. |
