Hiya As the suject states Do I just hit it with a BFH tho did try that but only broke the alloy trumpet.going to put Hi LOs in. Any ideas would be great.maybe good for how to thread cheers Baxter |

Brute force, I just stripped down a front subby today and smashed both trumpets trying to seperate them from the rubber cones.........BUGGER........replacing them with hilo's anyway but WD40....... |

Soak overnight with WD40. Hit edge of trumpet down from rubber with a BFH and chisel, work your way around. |

do you mean remove the knuckle joint from the trumpet?? I got a big screw driver and put it in the centre of th trumpet and then belted screwdriver with hammer and freed the knuckle I never had a problem with removing donut from trumpet |

Like Doc said for the donut end soak it in WD40 and use a chisel or a flat screwdriver to work them apart. With the knuckles I sprayed the WD40 down the trumpet and let that soak for a night then I used a piece of steel rod with one end on the ground I slammed the trumpet down over it until the knuckle comes out the top. WD40 is your friend ![]() |
