hi all i was just wondering where i can purchase por 15 from i have been to repco and a few paint shops and peps and burson and none of them have heard of it .i live in the sydney area. would it also be possible if you could give me a rough guide of applying the por 15 to subframes that have been taken back to bear metal.

Yeah it is a bit hard to track down.
If the subframes are bare metal I'd suggest wipe them down with thinners or some grease and stain remover then simply just paint it on, you can brush it or spray it. I wouldn't worry about the metal ready or any of their associated cleaning/prep products IMO they don't work as well as they claim.

thanks for your reply guys ive read in other post that it may wear over time or can i just paint it on and leave the por 15 or is it better to top coat it with abother paint aswell.

:D yeh ill have to adventure outside the wollondilly i might have to buy a street directory hahahah. yeh i want to do it right the first time i was considering painting the trouble spots with por 15 but not the whole car.

I have mentioned this before, but the KBS system is exactly the same as POR15, is Australian made, and is CHEAPER. I've used both and can't tell the difference.
