Post subject:  Installing bucket seats

did a search for a how to install racing seats, found out that i am officially a "ricer" instead. but we all know that by now anyway

the point is i'm not sure ow to go about this,
do i need to drill holes in the floor to mount it to
or
can i make up a bracket that will attach to the old ones at the front of the square bar across the front of the mini and just have the seat tilt like my old seats
or
a combination, mount to old front mounts and mount the rear of the seat as well.

any tips and pictures of you own install would be greatly appreciated.

Edit:

seat is one of the Autotecnica ones from repco, came with universal rails if that helps

if you start making your own frames etc, im pretty sure you must get them engineered first, otherwise if you do the dogey and get caught, its your own fault. It does depend on what bucket seats you have though, most have pre made rails which you can buy to go with them which will use the pre existing mounting points.
