Hi All,
I have the original Passport to Service and Driver's Handbook for a
1966 Cooper S here.
I would like to reunite this book with the car if it is still around.
If the numbers on your car match the ones in this book its yours!!
Heres hoping.
Dave

Matt,
You know me Matt, I'd rather have the car, can't drive the book! Just figure it would be better with the car than sitting in my drawer until I die, then being thrown out when they clean up, which happens all too often! I also don't have an overinflated Idea of what something like that is worth but realise it is a nice thing to have with the car.

You can do the head Mate, get started!!
Don't forget your safety goggles, we don't want to be adding to that allready long record list at the hospital for most foreign objects in the eye by one human being do we?

Dave

Great idea Sitnlo62!

Got me looking at what I'm NOT goin' to take with me as well.

I would be happy to reunite a Passport to Service for Cooper S Car No 2350. Engine Number 9FSaY43680. Sold by Goulds Motors, Northcote Vic on 8.6.67.

Book is complete except for first 3 services. Seems it didnt get serviced after 6000 Miles!!! Wonder if it survived?

That's a nice gesture Dave.

I know that if you do find the car, that the owner would be appreciative. I love the fact that I still have the passport to service for my De Luxe.

Now i`ve done my bit, have you finished the car yet Dave???

& now that Dave has started the ball rolling with all the people having hand books that don`t suit their own car & are offering them up to those who do own the car,,, pay it forward is such a good feeling yeah? Who`s next then? who`s got a book that doesn`t suit their car & is willing to offer it to those who do own the car???

Common,,, what a lovely jesture, lets keep it comming yeah?

It`s like that reality TV show re-uniting long lost familly :-) how sweet is that hey???? :-)

There have been a few other people advertising similar on here over the years , might be time to get everything together in one thread so they don't get pushed off the front page somewhere and forgotten .

Why not a stickey in Mini Chat for looking for people/owners? Free to Rightful Owners??

and

Why not a stickey in How To's? for Matts heads...

I know Matt is doing it for financial reward and of course the passion, but thats not the whole story and there is plenty of interest in his efforts...once again, well done big fella  8)
