4 Months since my mini was on the road.
Was 998, 1100 head and 1-1/2"SU and went reasonably well, but did need driving hard to keep up with traffic.
Now it is 1275,30/70 cam and 1-3/4" SU. What a difference, keeps up easily, goes up hills accelerating in top gear, soooo much easier to drive.
Even with the 3.1 diff I had fitted, the acceleration is good.
It has a water heated inlet manifold and a Rover electonic dizzy and 1100 Rad
Put a Rover interior in to it, half leather seats, complete with the sound deadening they use and it is quite quiet inside.
Still needs a bit of work, but oh what a luverly motor.
I was not sure how I was going to like a mini as my daily driver, but I am really looking forward to it now.

Pics won't help with how it drives.
It is just a Mini K, Jet Red with Crystal White roof in 2 Pack, it looks good but I have to admit it is the way it drives that impresses me.

Hi Kevin,
I thought you were going Mazda Red
I had samples made of the Mazda, Hyundai and Jet Red.
As I wanted to go with the white roof I chose the Jet Red and I must admit I am really happy with it
For the rest of you it's just like Doc's with a white roof, red flares and Hotwire wheels

Yep it is marked on the calender, so we expect to be there.
Will be nice to get there in a mini, we went to the first one in a Corolla.
