will a 1100 duplex timing chain and gears fit a 1275. i know stupid question but i really don't know. cheers |

An A series duplex chain and sprockets will fit any A series motor, from 850 block to 1275 block. |

Hey Doc....I'm probably wrong (bows to your far superior knowledge) but don't you have to replace some of the bolts that hold on that plate behind the timing chain, with countersunk screws - also got to countersink some of the holes??? But like I said, I'm more than likely 100% wrong. Cheers |

Yeah you do need to countersink the 2 lower holes on the backplate, then use csk screws- either socket head or Phillips ones. Also some timing covers foul on the chain inside, check and do cover surgery as needed. |
