How many of Rover mini owners here that still have all the emission gears attached and managed to have the car running properly? Also, if you remove them, to what extent did you remove it? Do you remove everything or just some parts? Which part must stay on? Thanks, Daniel |

I've got it all still on mine. In particular the 2 vaccum hoses at the back or the manifold near the firewall need to be intact or it runs like a turd. If you are thinking of changing to a carb setup to get a few more ponies, one of the UK mags had an article on what to remove. One of the many UK mini sites probably have a sticky on how to do it. |

Actually mine is still a carby, but doesn't go right at the moment. 2 vacuum hoses at the back, these are the ones that go to charcoal canister, no? Mine still has that and still intact, thinking of removing it... ![]() |
