No. They would say that these parts were used in some foreign place but that would never ever actually happen. Stuart Turner will confirm this.
The cars that were disqualified from the 66 Monte Carlo rally used these displacers. In the "read and burn" letter between Stuart Turner and Issigonis they discuss these displacers and the letter says..
