has anyone made their own dash or fitted one from another car ?

post some pics.. as im looking for a way to move my air vents to give me a double DIN space in my Rover

Just put an under dash AC system in there, then you can fit a 300 inch screen in your dash with a million speakers.

i'm in the middle of designing one at the moment to take 6" splits, gauges and switches.. have the outline drawn up in google sketchup, and photoshopped some ideas... but it's to suit a 68 mini witohut crash pads on the dash.. can send you the files if you want to have a play around with them.. thhey are all to scale so can be printed out as a template..

That first pic 666 put up is of a Ford KA dash stuck in a mini. The poms seem to do that conversion a fair bit, so it must be easy.

ive seen a Mazda 121 dash in a mini.. that looks neat as well .. perhaps im taking a trip to You pullit

thats something i havnt seen before.. quite a decent looking neat install...

ive found what i wanted for the time being.. and theres some awsome dashes out there..
