well im dropping in to say hello. ive been working out In the middle of no where for last 2yrs putting my mini into storage and my plans to have it as a daily driver on the backburner. its good to see most of the old posters on this forum is still here. Anyways plans are to get the mini out of storage and Over to my place and start slowly putting my plans into work. Im not goin to go Over board (no turbo mods Maybe super charger) just to freshen up the engine and fit parts and Bits that i had collected b4 going for work out of town. well seeyas MORE OFTEN.

Ok does a 1275 set of rockers fit onto a 12g295 head?

Simple answer, no they do not simply bolt on. The valves are in a different spot compared to a small bore. You can modify them to fit no worries. I think it's all to do with the spacing of the springs or something.

Are you doing anything special to the 295 head? I love them, they are an awesome head.

no port plans for it just keeping it std, but i realy would like to have it running with Roller rockers(need to get), Re13 , light flywheel, weber carby, no fan attached and a electric fan fitted, fresh pistons, unsure of what other stuff i have in storage for it. just keeping it a nice maintainable small block 998. the car it self needs a good old freshen up and heavy duty work on those brakes and i would also like to get it re wired (any one know a good Auto leky in Rockhampton?)
