I'll be wanting to get the bodywork done on my SC850.... sooner or later..... I just wanna know what kinda damage i'll be doing to my wallet.... I've got rust along the seams.... or should I say holes. Ive got a replacement floor for the front passenger side that needs to be welded in. Ive got rust along both sliding window bottom channels. I've got small amounts of rust under the roof gutter. I need to replace the rear beaver. The body under the bootlid needs slight straightening. The bootlid needs the badge holes filled. The front gaurds need dents removed and the aerial hole filled. The rear arches are going to get cut, raised and filled with a steel band. The whole body will need rubbing back, primer and new Nurburg White paint on every surface. Who here has had any of these done... and what did it cost you? If I was to give a bodyshop the bare shell, and allow 3 grand, could all of this get done? Just been thinking that IF the body was done, the rest would happen faster..... I'm sure this is true. |

i think your looking at nearly double your estimate for all that work, id say closer to 6 grand for a good panel beater to do it. |

Pffff.... its just money ![]() Considering my roadster is costing 6 grand for GOOD bodywork, I was hoping sc850 could get an average job for no more than 3... |
