Heyas,
Just a quick question as to my dizzy. Ive set the engine as the book says - so that the inlet and exhaust valves on cyl4 rocking. Now the distributor drive is at 3 and 9 o'clock (i was under the impression that it should be on an angle at like 2 and 8 o'clock?). This i assume shouldnt matter but when the distributor is in and the drive and offset dog are fully engaged, the rotor points to the cap clip which is exactly in the middle of 2 of the plugs lead segments (whereas it says it should be pointing at one of them and that is then your no1 spark plug lead input). So is it just a matter of taking the drive out with a 5/16th UNF and moving it anti-clockwise a tooth or so?
Cheers,
Dave
