When I lost my lock nut socket I just smacked a socket over the lock nut and undid it that way, rough, and I needed to replace them, but it got them off.

try multi grips?

I do the same trick as above. Get a chinese socket a smack it over the nut and undo it SLOWLY.

I'd then get a new set of nuts or locate a correct key thing, but a mate of mine has used his "home made" key on the car for years without trouble. The wheels are on and off dozens of times. :D

i scrapped mine.. they're a pain in the arse.. need to carry the lock nut socket, plus another socket to fit that as its different size to the other wheel nuts, plus a ratchet to fit the socket.

if someone wants to pinch my wheels, and god knows why they would.. they will find a way regardless. and it be a good excuse to buy some Revolution 6x10s....
