Most secondhandy's need the full works anyway....new/machined disks, ball joints, bearings, fingers crossed the swivel hub hasnt spun a bearing or stripped the ball joint thread, calipers may need new seals, pistons if they are rusted/pitted, pads, cv joint end, most drive flanges have seen better days so throw in a new set.....add all this up and it can cost you more than a brand new set. As mentioned they seel around $1600 on a good day. |

yeh cool. i'm looking at selling my mini 1969 morris panel van. it has the 7.5 cooper S disc front & drums on the back adjustable shocks front & back. just not sure what it is worth with it's parts on. resprayed white etc. not got it wired up yet but the engine runs 1000cc had head re shaved & it has new tyres & 10inch cooper bean mags. not sure if it is worth getting it wired up or not. i guess best to make it a runner for an easy sell. ill ebay it for sure thought i would ask you guys about something like that. no rust or anything nice straight body. |

Get it running and registered, then sell. Much more appealing when selling a registered and running vehicle than something unregistered and half finished. |

you can buy new harnesses from around $500, there a few companies that do them in australia. Do a search, you will find heap about it. These harnesses come with every wire labelled. A wiring diagram from any mini manual will help you sort the wiring out as long as you have a good wiring loom to use. |

yeh cool man.. i do have a manual some where. i do have a wire harness thats in really good condition. 2nd hand though. cool maybe it cant be that hard lol. saying that my old man had to have his engine harness rewired once for some reason & the the AUTO ELEC did his rover cooper & it was intresting watching his engine bay catch fire after we took it for a drive lol. thank god he has a mini fire extinguisher in the car sorted that all out quick smart. |
