i want to take everything apart, make it new and put it all back together

Tell me how to do it..

so i know how easy it is..

i have an angle grinder with a wire brush attachment

Need motivation.

Want little car running again.

Taking it apart is easy, putting it back together again takes three times as long although is more satisfying.

Label parts as you go - it will take longer than you think and your memory will fail.

You may need more than a wire brush though.

Are you doing a bare metal restoration?

Cush, just get stuck in and do it. Label everything, and make sure you have everything ready to go before you start bolting it all back up. That way when you get on a roll you don't have to stop to clean up a part or pop down the shops to get something that is missing.

Clean up all nuts and bolts and get them plated or replace them. And as you take things of and bag them, write a list of the new parts that will need replacing or that are missing. That way nothing will get left out.
