When you say for classic mini does this refer to the type of use, ie full or concessional :?:

NSW will have different prices for City vs Country and then there is the greenslip cost (CTP insurance that is included in most other states)
The Rego for my Morris 1100 is $239 and the greenslip was $279.09

Goulburn NSW
$518 to register a Morris 1100 (a Mini should be a little cheaper)

My Moke... $115.00 - 12 months. :D

But I only get to drive it 90 days of the year... suits me perfectly :)
(any 90 days - not in a specific group)

(This is 'Historic Registration')

I mean classic as in not a new MINI. It is a daily driver, not club reg.
Vic Reg includes: Registration fee $178.00
TAC Charge $378.00 (this is insurance if you injure someone but doesn't cover damage to car or property or even peds or cyclists, only if you injure someone else in another car or motorcycle) and Insurance Duty $37.80

I think pensioners get a discount.

The $167.30 includes compulsory third party insurance so that is the figure to get it on the road, albeit limited use.

The $140 for insurance is simply insuring his car and property damage caused by it.

Is that right Shane :?:

Hmmm - $242 more for full registration and non restricted use. I think I'd only go for the Historic registration if I had a collection and only drove most of them to club events - keep one fully regoed for a daily driver.
