Hey fellas and girls what is a feasible amount of money to pay for a Cooper S replica with a 1275, disc brakes, new interior, new paint. Just after a ball park figure. I am looking at the mini tomorrow and dont want to over pay. I understand that people spend lots of money restoring these things.

We would really need to see pictures of the car, but i would say anywhere between 6-12k

Is the 1275 a cooper S motor? S gearbox? S brakes or normal discs? When was the motor rebuilt? How are the CV's Bearings? Even though it's been resprayed is there rust?

Most importantly it needs to have the things you like since it's a replica you can make it how you want it.

Hi thanks for the input, The CV joints are new. It has 7.5inch disc breaks. Motor was rebuilt 12 months ago. It is not a cooper s motor.

A good one done properly with good paint is worth $10K+.
