I hadn't driven my mini in over a month due to it having my dads train set set up around it.

So this morning I finally took it for a drive. It was the most fun I've had in ages. I love my car so much.

Ryan :D :) :D :)

I can't live without driving a mini for more than a couple of days, driving the truck every day is painful.(yes i do still own a classic mini)

We just had one customer ring up we hadn't seen for a couple of years.
car has been sitting in the shed, decided it was time to get it running and go for a drive... 40 minutes later it was all over. genuine cooper is a bit shorter.

Just because i threatened to drop that cooper off the forklift last year doesn't make all Cooper related accidents my fault.

I'm not sure what it hit but it's not good.

Not sure yet...
but i reckon it has a nice mild 1275 with original cooper brakes.
that is a recipe for disaster.IMO.

Being a mechanic i have found there is ony one car as much fun to drive as a mini and thats a moke. Minis came first though. Do what you can to keep all minis on the road.

ive found that you are more likely to have an accident with your pride and joy if you havent driven it for a while :(

I would have to agree with that one...
i bought my first mini back after 9 years.
after i did new motor, wheels, weber, exhaust.
time for a test drive... didn't even make it home beofre some lady in a subaru ran a red light and wiped it out.that was 6 years ago.
now it just sits i the shed looking sad.
