I bought this minimatic about 12 months ago to strip for parts but have been busy building a new house amongst other things.

It seems like a shame to wreck but the rust has gone a bit too far, it was registered last in 2006 and appears to have heaps of work done at one stage.

I bought it from a wrecker, who bought it from garage sale in Newcastle somewhere.

It is 2/70 model
Hydrolastic suspension
Has cooper S disc brakes
Vh44 booster
H4 headlights
Stainless bumbers
motor and transmission seem original
heaps of rust

I would be interested if anyone knew any history.

Good pick up...looks well worth doing up.

Bumpers look way too shiney to be stainless.

I'd be interested to know whether it is illegal to have rear seat passengers with a half-cage
