 Post subject: 1.3 auto mini help

Hi iv'e got a 1.3 injected Auto half cut , And I can't move the Auto shift it's in Neutral . does the car have to be Running ,or do you have to put your foot on the brake ?

Sometimes the linkage thing in the car can jamb up, if you get under the sump and disconnect the other end you should be able to work out whether the issue is the box or the lever.

The front cut looks like it been sitting for a while, bad news for the late autos, the bands & seals dry up & the gears won't select properly, its a $2,000 plus job to attempt to fix it, thats if the fix actually works, i had so many drmas with my one i put into a clubby, will NEVER play with a auto again.
