I got my Spax through Fulcrum back in Dec 2001 they were $760 plus $40 freight ($800 all up) for a set of 4 15 point adjustable Gas shocks to suit a lowered car. Not sure how the prices compare these days?

How much is the freight going to cost?

Have you tried Steve at Brickworx he had boxes of stuff like that, I think he was throwing it out as cheap as chips a few weeks back.

Spax are crap!!

We got a set of GAZ 40 point adjustables in from the UK about $150 cheaper than anywhere in Oz, when their set soft their sort, hard is very hard, i can't fault their performance.

I had Spax on the Fiat 124 Sport years ago, they were crappy. When set the same they were nowhere near identical. I binned em and bought Koni Sports. 8)

koni's are expensive and have to be removed from the car to adjust unless you buy the really expensive ones which can be adjusted from the top, makes adjusting the rears hard and I don't think they make them for mini's anyway. give proven products in Albiry a ring as i think they are still the importers

Koni yellows are good but difficult to setup correctly

Bought a front pair locally in Melbourne for 270, same for the rears if you need the full set.
Althought 80 pounds will come up about 90 bucks cheaper than this, freight costs will eat this up completely, and you will have a 3 week wait for them to arrive.

What are your feelings on Koni Classics?
i have run them on all my cars and the only time one failed was when the LHR wheel dropped into a ditch at about 45mph on a road rally. Needles to say the noise overrode the fact the Koni failed. BTW the shock didn't cause the problem, it was the driver (me) avoiding a scrub turkey.

Spend some extra money & buy Bilsteins, they can be rebuilt over & over & can be revalved to your needs, i bought a set a few years ago $750 then for 4 shocks.
