Post subject: | cYLINDER 3 NOT FIRING CORRECTLY |
Have been having a misfire problem of late as well as many others anyway finally got it going and put the colortune on three and it's not firing properly, have just replaced coil and leads?? |

tried that still no luck, have just also discovered 2 has dropped also. |

start with distributor cap, then look to see if gap is same on all lobes ( bent shaft) |

i have only noticed that there appears to be no spark when using the colortune? |

so it's not the lead or the plug - have you put a known good plug in the lead and held it near the rocker cover to see if it sparks? if there's spark there, it might have lost compression due to a blown head gasket or a burnt valve, but you've gotta check everything you can possibly think of checking to narrow it down.... |
